MATALO!

Double- and triple-crosses abound when a group of bandits save a condemned man named Burt (Corrado Pani, INTERRABANG) from the gallows, only for him to turn on his rescuers, killing them in cold blood. Hooking up with three outlaw friends, he robs a stagecoach and hides out in an isolated ghost town, where he and his cronies set about terrorizing travelers Ray (Lou Castel, ORGASMO) and Bridget (Ana Maria Mendoza, 7 WOMEN FOR THE MACGREGORS). However, they get more than they bargained for when Ray fights back, armed with his unusual weapon of choice: a bag full of boomerangs. With a hypnotic acid rock score by Mario Migliardi and a heady countercultural vibe, Cesare Canevari's MATALO! is a unique spaghetti western from the dying days of the genre.
