KILLING SPREE

Tim Ritter, USA, 1987, Sub Rosa Studios, Horror

“Packed with cartoonish, splatter-packed murder scenes involving a spinning-blade ceiling fan, an old woman's face pounded to mush, a simultaneous disemboweling/electrocution and more, all designed for an FX artist's greatest hits reel.”
— Nathaniel Thompson, MONDO DIGITAL

Tom Russo (Asbestos Felt) suspects that his wife is having multiple affairs. So he decides to slaughter the men involved with a variety of household tools. But are the affairs real? Or is Tom just in the mood for a KILLING SPREE?! Fueled by the reckless abandon of teenage D.I.Y. demigod Tim Ritter (TRUTH OR DARE?: A CRITICAL MADNESS), this is a sun-bleached mutation of John Waters camp, H.G. Lewis gore, and Kuchar brothers dream logic. Plus, there’s Asbestos Felt -- the bug-eyed, hysterical leading man who channels Kurt Cobain on bath salts while hitting a senior citizen in the face with a hammer. The end credits of this movie include a special thanks to Kentucky Fried Chicken and Domino’s Pizza.
