Decades after the original series ended, genre legend Takashi Miike (AUDITION) unleashed THE GREAT YOKAI WAR—a loose remake of YOKAI MONSTERS: SPOOK WARFARE that explodes with psychedelic madness. The story follows a boy who teams-up with a group of Yokai monsters to defend humanity against an ancient demon that has sworn retribution against modern-day Japan.
