A masked maniac (Steve Railsback, most famous for his unhinged performance as Charles Manson in the 1976 TV mini-series HELTER SKELTER) with a penchant for a horror-themed board game is playing his own twisted game with a small American town. Each time the dice is rolled, another victim meets a grisly end! Mixing giallo-style killings with soap opera hysterics, DEADLY GAMES is a fascinating early 1980s slasher that benefits from focusing on the development of its female-led cast as much as it does on stalking and slashing.
