A family of furry, snorkel-nosed aliens arrive on Earth looking for a new home, only to find a foggy wilderness filled with sociopathic poachers, a rock band on vacation, and a very special boy looking for a new best friend instead! A ‘kids movie’ (and we’re using that term lightly) from the notorious director of PIECES and SLUGS that later became legendary due to its inclusion on a 1991 episode of Mystery Science Feature 3000, Juan Piquer Simón’s EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL VISITORS is a bizarre mishmash of violence and pathos that is perhaps the most singularly screwy E.T.-influenced films ever made.
