Klouk (Bernard Crombey) is a car salesman who has to skip a family holiday to deliver a luxury American station wagon to his boss' wealthy client on the other side of France. To make the best of it, he decides to take his friend Philippe (Xavier Saint-Macary) with him, picking up a hitchhiker (Etienne Chicot) and his friend (Patrick Bouchitey) along the way.
