High school senior Andrea Marr (Dominique Swain) wants nothing more than to shed her sheltered, bookish lifestyle and become a groupie to local rock singer Todd Sparrow (Sean Patrick Flannery). Abandoning her best friend for a gang of groupies, critics and wannabes, Andrea will have to find out for herself if reality lives up to her teen fantasies. Like MY SO-CALLED LIFE with the hormones dialed to 11 (and more than its share of camp!) GIRL is a yet-to-be-discovered 90s gem, with a teen dream cast featuring Selma Blair, Tara Reid, Clea DuVall and Portia de Rossi.
