PERSONA

Exploring identity and disaffected youth through the lens of 2000’s J-Horror, PERSONA is teenage angst reconfigured into a haunting new form. A formerly meek student comes to school one day wearing a ceramic mask and displays a wholly different version of himself - strong, determined, violent. When his like-minded classmates adopt their own masks, the band of anonymous youths begin a conquest of destruction that will inevitably lead to fatal consequences. With its mercurial storytelling and unsettling atmosphere, PERSONA is an idiosyncratic J-Horror experience unlike any other.
