It’s not punk rock–it’s SCUMROCK! A pretentious underground filmmaker (TV On the Radio’s Kyp Malone) struggles to finish his latest masterpiece while a scuzzy punk rock chick (Amy Davis) tries to keep her band from fading into obscurity in Jon Moritsugu’s lo-fi epic. Shot on the mean streets of San Francisco with a $150 hi8 camcorder and edited on VHS, SCUMROCK drags video into the gutter while simultaneously giving the digital revolution the middle finger.
