Directed by Elliott Hong (THEY CALL ME BRUCE) and filled with squib-busting violence, THE RETRIEVERS is the only action movie we know of that centers around a plot to get a book published. Carefree electrician Tom Cathral is recruited by The Company. But he’s quickly offered a full-time promotion to join “The Retrievers,” the CIA’s elite squad of crooked secret operatives. Tom’s first assignment is to take down ex-member Danny, who has written an exploitive, “tell all” book about The Retrievers. But when Tom fails, he too falls between the crosshairs of the company’s revenge.
